Hikes in Cayuga County

 Cayuga County is characterized mostly by flat, open fields so there aren’t too many hiking opportunities here. However, don’t let that deter you from visiting its trails. There are a number of state forests, such as Bear Swamp State Forest, which has hikes included on this page. There are also some state parks such as Fillmore Glen and multiple parks on Lake Ontario, but those receive more traffic than the state forests.
